Clarence Plains Child and Family Learning Centre

The CPCFC opened in March 2012 to improve the health and wellbeing, education and care of Tasmania’s very young children, birth to 5 years of age, by supporting parents/carers and enhancing accessibility of services in the local community. Parents/carers are offered opportunities to develop their skills, access pathways to training and employment and be supported in their vital parenting role.

The Clarendon Vale Neighbourhood Centre is a safe welcoming space for all the Clarendon Vale/ Clarence Plains community and its surrounds. Designed by the community for the community CVNC can be used as a meeting space to enjoy a coffee, become involved in a program or service, access support or even volunteer in the local area.

The Grace Centre

The Grace Centre was launched in early 2016 after Grace Church purchased the old Rokeby Tavern in late 2015 with the aim of doing something great for their community. It wasn’t much to look at in the beginning but we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Since then we’ve been busy with the ongoing renovation of our run down old pub, transforming it into a beautiful meeting hub that serves our local community and the wonderful initiatives that so many of our locals are engaged in.

One Community Together is a collective of residents, community groups and organisations in Clarence Plains. We work together on shared goals with, and for, our local community that build on our individual strengths to create positive change together.
We have an office at the Grace Centre, 11 Ralph Terrace Rokeby. If you’re a community member and you’d like to drop in and have a chat, call ahead on 0431 995 379 to arrange a time. We’d love to meet you!
